We at Brian Toliver Ford Lincoln would like to welcome you to our Body Shop website.    We strive to provide our customers with the most complete online information possible.  We have designed our Website to make sure you are able to find your information quickly and easily.  Our goal is to make your online visit pleasant, informative, and stress free.

We provide an easy access parking area for all of our customers.  Our newly remodeled dealership has several waiting areas.   The coffee pot is always on.

We will work with ALL insurance companies concerning your repairs and claims.

Our Body Shop has been preselected as a Direct Repair Provider by most top brand Insurance companies to be a Direct Repair Provider.  As a Direct Repair Provider, we are able to expedite the repairs for you.  Our main objective is to get you back into your vehicle and back into your daily schedule as quickly as possible.

We will work with you and your insurance company to find and provide the best results for you.  Though we prefer using Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts, we will also work with your insurance company to make sure we are meeting their guidelines.  Your company may want us to use Like Kind and Quality (LKQ), Aftermarket or Reconditioned parts.

Aftermarket Parts are manufactured with different methods, standards and materials because they are not manufactured by the original vehicle's manufacturer.  To be classed as an Aftermarket Part, it has to meet 90% of the original manufacturers' specifications.  We will locate and use these parts if a customer requests them.

We offer additional value-added services to restore your car to its original condition.

Our Body Shop is stocked with the newest and most innovative repair equipment, including an electronic frame measuring and repair system.  Our Computerized Paint Mixing System is here to provide you with an exact color match.

Our Body Shop Manager, Tommy Peugh, has made sure that each of the technicians in the Body Shop and Paint Booth has received the most up-to-date training and certification.  Our Body Shop is a designated I-Car Gold Repair Shop.  I-Car develops and delivers technical training to professionals in all areas of the collision repair industry.

Our Body Shop technicians have been factory trained, have received ASE Certification and have had individual I-Car Platinum training.  They are able to work on all makes and models of vehicles.

We want to make sure that you, our valued customer, understand completely all the steps we will follow to repair your vehicle by your and your insurance company's standards:

  1. File Claim. When you file a claim with your insurance company, the process begins.
  2. Appraisal. After you arrive here, we make an appointment with your insurance company to appraise the vehicle.  The work begins after we accept liability for the repairs.
  3. Disassembling. After the vehicle is disassembled, we check for uncovered damages.  If any are found, we will require a second appraisal.
  4. Order parts. This may take a few days,  depending on the extent of the damage.
  5. Repairs. We will begin to repair and restore the vehicle.  It may be mounted on a frame machine for our metal technicians.  We will make sure to tell you of the status of your vehicle.
  6. Priming. Priming will seal and protect your vehicle against chemical treatments of the body panels and corrosion.
  7. Painting, Buffing. Our first step will be preliminary taping, bagging and masking.  The second step will be painting, refinishing, and buffing.  This does take time, but is necessary to make your vehicle's paint look as good as the original paint.
  8. Final Repairs, Trim. Molding and trim is installed before we begin necessary repairs such as suspensions, air conditioning work, tire alignment, etc.
  9. Wash, Inspect. We want to present your vehicle to you clean inside and outside.  After it is washed, it undergoes a final inspection to make sure all repairs meet criteria of the customer and the insurance company.

We will be happy to go over the estimate given to you, explaining each point to make sure you are aware of every step of your repair.

Although Brian Toliver Ford Lincoln does not have a rental department, if your insurance provides it, we will be happy to quickly put you in touch with a local automobile rental company.  Many drivers do not know whether or not their insurance policy provides for rental vehicles, or even like-kind rental vehicles.  For instance, your full-size pickup needed for work, could be replaced with a compact rental car.  We recommend contacting your insurance agent in order to know exactly what your insurance will cover.

Most rental addendums cost around $10.00 per month.  It is well worth the extra money if you consider having to pay up to $50.00 per day while your vehicle is being repaired.

Your "best insurance" is to check on your current insurance policy and see what it covers now, before it is needed.  Then, if you need our Body Shop, they will verify your coverage as well as your deductible.
